The Philochrony (from Greek philo: friend and khronos: time) is the branch of Physics that describes the nature of time and helps us to visualize it. The Philochrony is based in the becoming-time duality and on the philochron classification of things. According their duration things are classified in: Eternal, durable, perishable, ephemeral, fleeting and nonexistent. The concept of Becoming-Time Duality was devised by me on October 26, 2010 and the Philochrony on March 13, 2009.

WHAT IS THE FUTURE?

The future is the set of events that have not happened. These events may be possible
(the tomorrow day) and fortuitous (a car accident). The future can be close (hours, days)
and far (years, decades).
----------------------------------------------
At the age of 15 I felt that Time was walking.

At 35 I felt Time was running.

Now with 53 I feel that Time flies.

WHAT IS MAGNITIVE

What is magnitive refers to the property of beings that is imperceptible, but measurable. What is magnitive is objective, but not concrete; for example in Physics: force, gravity and duration. We feel weight, but not gravity.

Magnitive (created by Sibilia) is a modification of the word magnitude.

Intuition is the faculty of experiencing ideas, sensations and feelings concerning an object of knowledge.
We intuit time as a flowing objective magnitude.
What is magnitive is imperceptible, but intuitive.

THE PHILOCHRON LINE OR PHILOCHRONY

............ Duration
------- b ------------ e -------> Time (dimension)

b = beginning
e = end

The past has already happened.
The future hasn't occurred.
The present is a mnemonic illusion.
Only the philochrony is real (the relation between two events).

THE FUNDAMENTAL LAW OF PHILOCHRONY

The becoming time duality

This law arises from the philochron table.

.... ELEMENT ..... PROPERTY ....... MAGNITUDE
... space ............ extension ........ length, area, volume
... becoming ...... time ................ duration

- Becoming is the inherent ability of matter and bodies to experience
sequential changes.
- Time is the continuous succession of irreversible moments. Time is the
manifestation of becoming. It is perceptible.
- Time is the dimension of becoming, not space.
- Duration is the interval between two moments in time. Synonyms of
duration are: period, age and permanence. It is magnitive.
- Space and time are inextricably linked.
