Ver la versión completa : English ONLY Movement
Hi, you all !
Tell me : Have you ever heard about the English Only Movement in the history of the USA ?
Any information on this subject will truly be appreciated.
It has it's followers, but I doubt that a law like this could pass. This movement wants to make English the official language and to forbid all other languages from being spoken. What a stupid mind of those!
Adios

Just to point out a big mistake  concerning the linguistic situation of Puerto Rico, included in the "Current Law" section hereby :

Make no mistake :
English is NOT the "Official Language" of Puerto Rico, and Spanish in NOT (an)"other language" spoken in that island. Got it ?
Both languages are the two official languages of Puerto Rico.
